You step outside with your morning coffee, ready to enjoy your dock or patio—but instead you’re met with a flock of gulls and their mess. Sound familiar? You’re not alone. And here’s the good news: you’re not powerless.
Meet the Gull‑Cat Bird Scare Decoy: a wind-powered, collapsible, lifelike predator that works as nature intended—quietly, effectively, and humanely. Crafted with synthetic fur, sharp teeth, and claws, it mimics a cat in hunting posture and responds to even light wind or wave motion to move in random patterns—no batteries or power required.
This isn’t your standard garden owl. The Gull‑Cat’s crouching posture and realistic detailing simulate a predator preparing to strike. As wind or water activates subtle motion, the effect is surprisingly lifelike—triggering birds’ instinct to flee.
Perfect for environments where nuisance birds gather:
“Gull-Cat Bird Deterrent Scares Birds" kept birds away from our pool until it mysteriously disappeared. No choice, bought another. This product works!”
Orlando Padron, Key Largo, FL
“I couldn’t be happier with the performance of the Gull-Cat Bird Deterrent Scares Birds. It has kept my dock clear of ducks and geese—and their awful feces which covered the dock in the past—day and night. It really works!”
Howie Hacht, Watertown Yacht Club
If nuisance birds have turned your outdoor space into their landing zone, the Gull‑Cat Bird Scare Decoy offers a smart, humane, and low-maintenance way to reclaim it. Realism, motion, and no power needed—just set it, forget it, and enjoy your space again. It works—pretty much anywhere birds are a problem.
To get the most out of your Gull‑Cat Bird Scare Decoy, proper placement and smart positioning are key. Birds are highly observant—subtle changes in location and movement patterns can make all the difference.
Set the decoy where birds tend to land, perch, or feed. Make sure it’s clearly visible from their typical flight paths—rooftop edges, dock railings, patio posts, boat decks, or garden borders are ideal.
For natural motion, position the decoy in an open area where it can move freely with wind or wave action. On boats, allow space for it to sway gently with water movement.
If used near pools or gardens, elevate the decoy slightly for better visibility—on a raised platform, railing, or wall bracket. Birds avoid predators they can see.
To prevent birds from getting used to the decoy, change its position every few days—rotate it slightly, move it to the other side of the boat, or shift it to a new corner of the patio. This reinforces the illusion of a live, territorial predator.
For expansive docks, large lawns, or marinas, consider using more than one Gull-Cat. Place them at opposite ends of the area to create the impression of a patrolled space.
For persistent bird activity, enhance the deterrent effect by combining the Gull-Cat with reflective scare tape, holographic owls, or distress call sounds. Layered defense works best in high-pressure environments.
